An itinerary through the enchanting and fascinating scenery of the Crete Senesi, which, along a stretch of the ancient Via Lauretana,  will make you to discover ancient and authentic flavors. Ambrogio Lorenzetti in the famous fresco of the Good Government (Siena, Palazzo Pubblico) painted a farmer who leads a dark Cinta Senese pig to Siena and  who has never heard of the Florentine steak which must necessarily be prepared with Chianina meat?
But not only gastronomy, this tour also offers artistic treasures such as the Museum of Palazzo Corboli in Asciano (among the most beautiful small Italian museums) or the splendid frescoes by Sodoma and Signorelli in Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey .

Program - Meeting with the guide in Asciano, in front of the Museum of Palazzo Corboli and visit of the center of Asciano and of the Museum itself. At the end, tasting of appetizers with cold cut and products based on Cinta Senese pork meat; a sort of  starter before driving for a few kilometers from the town where the lunch will continue in  a Chianine cow farm and will be preceded by a guided tour of the farmhouse.
In the afternoon the tour  will  end with the magnificent  visit to the fourteenth-century  Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey.
